Iced Herbal Coffee

Whether you are trying to get off coffee, cut back on coffee, or you simply want to enjoy a delicious beverage, Teeccino Herbal Coffee has all bases covered. This herbal coffee is one of my favorite go-to’s that I typically always have on hand. You can buy it ground or tea bags. They have lots of different flavors, but Vanilla Nut and Hazelnut are my top choices.

I started making iced coffees this week when I felt like I needed something cool and sweet in the afternoon. Preparing a cup after lunch or dinner is also a great way to curb your craving for something sweet! Teeccino is a great coffee alternative as it offers a rich taste without being acidic. We want your body to be more alkaline than acidic. In an alkaline state your body runs optimally and can fight disease. When your body is more acidic, there is a greater chance of inflammation and thus an increased risk for disease.

Hazelnut Iced Coffee (caffeine free)

1 Hazelnut Teeccino Tee Bag (or sub flavor of choice)
1/3 c. hot water
6-8 oz. almond milk
3 drops of Stevita Stevia Liquid (or sweetener of choice to taste)
5-7 ice cubes

Steep the tee bag in the hot water for at least 10 minutes. Remove tea bag and add concentrated coffee to your favorite glass or mug. Top with almond milk and a few drops of stevia. Add ice and enjoy!

I recently purchased the Stevita Stevia Liquid as I’ve learned more and more about how the majority of powdered stevia comes from China and many of the times has fillers in it that aren’t good for you…bluck! Stevita is one of the rare brands that does not use fillers and they actually grow the stevia on their own farms!
